Welding Operations:
- Perform welding tasks using GTAW and SMAW techniques on exotic metals such as stainless steel, duplex, super duplex etc.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper machine settings for each job.
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet specifications and industry standards.
- Identify and repair any defects in welds.
- Follow detailed work instructions and welding procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in GTAW and SMAW welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience as a welder, particularly in using both GTAW and SMAW techniques.
