Welder

**Pay: $26-$29**HR/DOE \| **Location:** Decatur, AL\| **Weekly Pay** \|**Full Benefits**
Join a team specializing in precision fabrication and security installations. This contract role offers steady work, competitive pay of $26-$29 per hour, and projects throughout Decatur, Stone Mountain, Tucker, Lithonia, Conyers, and Snellville, GA, all within approximately a 40-mile radius of Decatur.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on detention hinges, lock boxes, mounting plates, filler plates, and other security components.
Cut, grind, fit, and position materials for welding.
Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
Support field installation projects at customer sites throughout the local area.
Maintain welding equipment and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
Work closely with installation teams to complete projects on schedule.
Ideal candidates have strong MIG/TIG welding experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on active job sites.
**Requirements:**
* Journeyman Welder
* Complete tasks as assigned by the site supervisor
* Must be authorized to work in the United States
* **Must have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportation**
* **Must pass drug screen and all required background checks.**
