Job description
You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR in the Welding shop (926), Production Resources Department Manager (901), Production Resources Department (900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in welding trade processes, practices, materials, equipment, and techniques. Experience effectively instructing others in welding subjects. Experience in welding subject matter to provide practical application of the trade integrated with safety, radiological, and other requirements. Experience in welding trade commensurate. Experience disseminating training both orally and written in the area of welding process and concepts.
